This study surveyed over 200 fresh or recent graduates across Ethiopia, over 30 hiring and recruiting institutions, and 5 higher education institutes. The assessment also conducted a desk review, closely examining relevant practices within the context of Ethiopia, and taking lessons from youth job programmes to better understand existing and future challenges in the labor market. Its findings offer insights on information asymmetry, and mismatch between youth aspirations and market demands. The assessment was carried out to gain insights for the design of a programme for young professionals.
